I have a 2006 Philips HTS3440/37 Surround Sound System and DVD Player. I am going to buy a PS3 and want to know how to connect my sound system to the PS3. My DVD player doesn’t have an HDMI output. Some one please help me!!!

There should be a place on the back of the PS3 where you can plug in your sound system, or maybe in your tv. As for the dvd player, don’t worry about it, the PS3 itself is also a dvd player.

I recently added outdoor speakers to my surround sound system. I have a Samsung system, but it doesn’t appear to have a two-channel system. Any suggestions on how to switch between my indoor and outdoor speakers? I only want my outdoor speakers to work when I am listening to the radio or cd. I don’t wany my neighbors listening to the movies or tv stations that I am watching.

I have a nice little camera that records video, but I’ve noticed the audio quality just plain sucks. Its not very sensitive and the quality is bad. Is there any way to improve the quality? Or can I record the audio seperately? What should I do?

If it is an analog recording you can convert it to digital which will remove all the hiss.

Everyone has different taste’s but my favorite company for speakers if money is no problem would be morel hifi, they have great sq freq range, crisp sound with out the pitchy high tweeter, they are loud but give a warm sound. If money is a factor to some extent then for the price nothing beats infinity kappas. Best brand and model for the price in my opinion.

get after-market radio or Head unit, always first step. than Looking for a 4 channel class A amplifier, after you got the amplifier, than get the speakers changed. or you can get a class D amplifier and put some subwoofers in the trunk. I always change my radio fist no matter what car I get first, than put some subs in the trunk. If the speakers works good, I’ll leave the way it is, if the speakers blown I just change all 4 of them to match up the sound quality.

I wonder if it is possible to download/save only the audio component in a video file that is uploaded on popular sites like youtube, googlevideo etc.?

Many a times, if the video file is too large and would occupy much space on the disk, I would prefer to download only the audio part. This is particularly applicable to songs and music videos uploaded on these sites.

it is not possible honey, although you can download it as it is and later-on convert it to .wav or any audio format but I don’t know the name of the software.

Essentially, how does one split the video from the audio so that the audio can keep running while i interrupt the video/images?

then mute the video.. and put the pic and video in.. and put the audio as background music

Hey,
It all depends on where you go and what you want. Some places try to push the pricier products that are just way too much and some are really there to help you out to get what you want. I would look around and talk to them and get a read on what their about. But personally I would prefer to make my own system. It gives you more freedom and you get a great experience knowing your system inside and out. Just do some homework on products and what their prices should range from and start from their.
